The Background Story…

This guest room design was apart of our interior design programs. I met with the homeowner to discuss her needs and desires for the room. She expressed that she wanted a coastal vibe while keeping the farmhouse feel that the rest of her home has. We worked together to pick out materials that would work best for the room and we incorporated pieces that she already had to stay within a budget.

The Design Elements

Concept boards are a great conversation starter. After our team meets with the client we put together a collection based on the conversation that we had in the during the initial consultation. We then hand select items that complement the overall design and place them in a concept board for the client to look over. From there the design evolves with further conversation and feedback from the client.
